Limited Mobility Lift Fund Raiser – Trieste Social Club

The Trieste Social Club is situated at 4 Willow Street, Essendon. A well hidden community (self funded) treasure for many elderly Members who have supported and grown the Club since 1978. As an Italian based Club, from Trieste (North Italy) the 250 strong Membership, their families and children enjoy the safe social environment at the venue.

With the ageing patrons and our Club’s growing interaction with the Essendon Community, the Committee have decided that this year is the year we have the support and momentum to install a limited mobility lift so that all Club/venue visitors can access the grand upper hall by lift and not 20 steps that currently are becoming more and more difficult to grapple with. Community Members who are restricted by wheelchairs, walking frames, physically impaired or limited in their mobility have overwhelmingly endorsed the project, however, having raised the majority of funds needed, we still are $30,000 away from it being realised.

We have several fund raiser innitiatives:
We invite and encourage residents and local businesses to pledge their financial support.
Any amount is greatly appreciated, with any amount over $250 receiving various recognition and Club benefits.
$250 (name on Sponsor Board),
$500 (Name on Sponsor Board/1 Free 1 Year Membership (value $75) and a Sponsor’s Dinner)
$750 (Name on Sponsor Board/2 Free 1 Year Memberships (value $150) and a Sponsor’s Dinner)
$1,000 (Name on a Plaque Inside the Lift /2 Free 2 Year Membership (value $300) and a VIP Dinner)

We have a Lift Fund Raffle: (25 tickets left) Tickets are $100 each.
3 prizes:
1st prize Flights for 2 return to Trieste Italy.
2nd prize Flights for 2 return to Bali.
1st prize $100 back.

We have a Gala Dinner Fund Raiser Night
7 course dinner, floor show by Tony Pantano, Band, Dancing and lots of fun all proceeds to our Lift Fund.
