The Essendon Historical Society will be opening the Courthouse Museum for the extended hours of 10am until 5pm on February 23rd. for the Moonee Valley Festival, which will be held opposite, in Queens Park. Visitors will be welcome to try their hand at old fashioned handwriting in our free “Write Back in Time” activities. For $2, you can also get your pen licence and, for $5, dress in period costume. Complementing this, we will also have an exhibition on schools and learning in the past.
