Moonee Valley Council is honouring the spirit of ANZAC Day with a commemoration ceremony which the whole community is invited to attend.
The ceremony takes place on Sunday, 21 April from 3pm at The Cenotaph, Queens Park, corner of Mt Alexander Road and Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds. Held in conjunction with the Essendon RSL sub-branch, the ceremony is held to help ensure the contribution made by those who serve their countries will not be forgotten.
Before the ceremony there will be a march led by the Moonee Valley Brass Band and Australian Air Force Cadets.
Refreshments will be served at the Civic Centre, 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds following the ceremony. For more information, contact 9243 8888.
