Soldiers and mates lost in battle will be at the forefront of Keilor East RSL members’ minds during an Anzac Day dawn service on Thursday, March 25, followed by a march on the Sunday.
Thursday’s dawn service will begin at 6am at the cenotaph at Neil Heinze Reserve on Hoffmans Road, Essendon, to be followed by a traditional ‘gunfire’ breakfast in the RSL clubrooms.
Those wishing to attend the march should assemble at the corner of Mary Street and Hoffmans Road at 10am for a 10.15am step off, marching to Neil Heinze Reserve for a service at 10.30am.
Refreshments will be served at Keilor East RSL after the service.
