For the Moonee Valley Festival, the Essendon Historical Society Courthouse will be open for the extended hours of 10am to 5pm, with free admission. The society will be selling our publications, crafts made by some of their very talented members and having a second hand book sale.

They are also offering visitors the opportunity to sample what it was like to be trialed in the Courthouse in the 1890s, they can have their photo taken in the dock in historical costume and receive a wanted poster and charge sheet, for a small fee. All proceeds will go to the restoration of the Courthouse.
