The Moonee Valley Council is seeking feedback from the community, including local soccer clubs and associations, schools, community groups and other users of Moonee Valley’s soccer facilities, on the draft Future Directions: Soccer Plan (3MB).

When completed, the plan will provide a strategic framework for the long-term provision of soccer in Moonee Valley.

The draft plan identifies long-term opportunities to:

• increase the number of soccer players in Moonee Valley, especially females, juniors and people from non-English speaking backgrounds
• develop the capacity of smaller clubs to grow and be sustainable entities
• assist clubs with some operational issues, including pre-season activities, pitch set up and access to neighbouring facilities
• increase the overall number and quality of soccer grounds and facilities by seeking to create multiple pitch sites, including a site for summer soccer.
