Join former Essendon champion Michael Long to celebrate the contribution of Indigenous women in the wider community at the sixth annual Long Walk Women’s Luncheon on Friday 14 October.
Held at the Peninsula at Central Pier, the Long Walk Women’s Luncheon recognises the role of Indigenous women in communities whilst raising imperative funds for the Long Walk’s leadership programs.
Enjoy performances from the Sunshine Sisters (Emma Donovan, Jessie Lloyd and Deline Briscoe) and hear from special guests Rosalie Kunoth-Monks, Fay Ball with Pauline Whyman as the esteemed MC speaker. This year’s major raffle prize is a personal chef at home for eight people valued at $1,349.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards The Long Walk’s Indigenous Cultural Exchange Program – a program aimed at strengthening existing cultural exchange partnerships by developing self-esteem through cultural practice.
