Celebrate the art created by Moonee Valley’s youth during NAIDOC Week workshops and view pieces by the 2011 Deadly Art Award winner and a traditional basket & eel net weaver.
The workshops were directed by these talented Indigenous artists:
Ben McKeown – local resident, contemporary visual artist, curator and 2011 Deadly Art Award winner
Kamahi-Djordan King – contemporary artist, cabaret performer and 2011 CAL Art Award for Works on Paper winner
Veronica Barnett – traditional weaver, painter and widely exhibited artist
