(City of Moonee Valley)
The annual Moonee Valley Foundation Grants for local young people are now open.
These grants, which are supported by Moonee Valley City Council, assist local young people to achieve excellence in education, training, or in personal endeavours that will ultimately benefit the local community.
There are three types of grants awarded:
Principal Grant: This grant is for young adults from 18-28 years of age. This grant is awarded to enable the applicant to achieve excellence in their chosen field.
Apprentice Trainee Grant: This grant is for young adults from 18-28 years of age. This grant is awarded to applicants who demonstrate excellence in their vocation.
A pool of $10,000 is available for distribution for these two grants.
School Motivational: This award is provided to a VCE student in each of the participating colleges in the City of Moonee Valley. These schools nominate a student deserving of the Motivational award. The amount given to a student is $250.
