Now in its 33rd year the Moonee Valley Festival is recognised as one of the largest FREE community events operating in Melbourne, attracting crowds in excess of 60,000 patrons from Moonee Valley and beyond.
Festivities begin on Saturday with The Henley on Maribyrnong Rowing Regatta presented by the Essendon Rowing Club from 10am to 4pm.
In addition to the Regatta live entertainment, kids activities and delicious food will be available throughout the day on the banks of the Maribyrnong.
On Sunday the Community Celebration will embrace Queens Park and promises to deliver a program full of excitement with four stages of international and local acts, roving performers, information, food and market stalls, interactive displays and demonstrations, business expo, amusement rides and side show alley, Kids Kingdom, cooking demonstration stage supported by a fresh produce market, environment and sustainability area, youth hub and an It’s A Dogs World precinct.
