When her performing days were over she then taught a new generation of operatic singers. Sara Hardy’s biography of Dame Joan Hammond captures Joan’s life in all its complexity. Sara Hardy has been an actor and playwright and the biographer of the famous landscape designer Edna Walling. Sara Hardy will talk about Dame Joan Hammond and how she came to write this book.
