Strathmore Theatrical Arts Group (STAG) presents Julius Caesar, Shakespeare’s extraordinary study of Roman ambition and betrayal. STAG’s production is directed by Shakespeare actor/director Dan Boyle.

8pm: March 11–14. 2pm: Sunday, March 8. at Strathmore Community Hall, Loeman Street, Strathmore [Melway map16 H10]. $20 ($15 conc.).

Synopsis:
Around about the Ides of March 2009, STAG is mounting a traditional production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
Shakespeare’s extraordinary study of Roman ambition and betrayal concentrates on the events leading up to, and the subsequent aftermath of, the assassination of Julius Caesar by a conspiracy led by his friend Brutus.
The production will emphasize the action and personal conflicts of its characters.

Auditions at Strathmore: March 9, 10 (Monday, Tuesday) at 7pm
Strathmore Theatrical Arts Group (STAG) is holding auditions (amateur) for Seven Stories, an existential comedy by Morris Panych (for a season May 28–June 6, 2009).
