The Moonee Valley Festival is the premier event on Moonee Valley City Councils annual event calendar and attracts more than 60,000 people.
Heading into its 32nd year, the Festival provides a broad range of quality free entertainment including several stages, a craft area, interactive and static displays, extensive childrens activities, amusements and a strong profile of community groups, traders and local talent.
In 2009, the Festival will take place over two days on Saturday 28 February and 1 March. On Saturday, the Essendon Rowing Club and Rowing Victoria, in association with the Moonee Valley Festival, will hold a rowing regatta on the Maribyrnong River. Festival Sunday will be a family community day and will be held in Queens Park, Moonee Ponds.
