Moonee Valleys annual Carols by Candlelight program is a free community event that reflects a traditional and family oriented experience. It will be held on Sunday, 14 December 2008 from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The event is about the municipalitys diverse community coming together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to share the spirit of Christmas, and community singing of course!
An exciting program is planned for this years Carols event, featuring performances by the ever-popular Essendon Choral Society and the Citys very own brass band – Moonee Valley Brass Inc.
Highlights will also include performances by children from local schools and community groups, Christmas-inspired craft activities, as well as a live Nativity.
Candles, refreshments and songbooks will be available for purchase from 6pm.
