Be part of the Walk in Harmony – a symbolic walk to The Dome – as we celebrate Australias success as a diverse society united by a common set of values. The Essendon Football Club in conjunction with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship are hosting the 2008 Walk in Harmony on Sunday 4 May.
Activites will kick off at the Flemington Community Centre – 25 Mt Alexander Road Flemington – at 12pm. These include: the Police Band Code 1, BBQ, Multicultural Food, Autographs, Football activities, Jumping Castle, Face painting, Victoria Police Expo (Cars, Helicopter, Horses), AFP Expo (X-Ray machine, dog squad, forensic, showbags).
Plus, the first 2000 participants on the day will receive a free Walk in Harmony t-shirt and entry to watch Essendon take on Port Adelaide.
The walk to the Telstra Dome will begin at 2pm.
