(Moonee Valley Council)Vacation Care Idol, a trip to Venny Adventure Playground, making a robot pottery, sporting games and self-defence classes are just some of the exciting activities awaiting primary school children this summer at the Flemington and North Melbourne Community Centres.

Moonee Valley Mayor Cr Paul Giuliano encouraged parents to take advantage of the summer Vacation Care program being offered at the centres which includes a variety of activities for children of all interests to enjoy.

“Parents wondering what they should do with their primary school-aged children this summer should look into the Vacation Care program at the Flemington and North Melbourne Community Centres. We offer a range of wonderful activities for children in a fun, safe environment that is also at a reasonable cost to parents,” he said.

The summer Vacation Care program is on 14 – 25 January, from 8am to 6pm. The cost is $32.75 per day, which includes all activities, excursions and fruit for afternoon tea.
