Packed pre-season starts for players next week
Essendon’s 2007/08 pre-season training – which starts on Wednesday 7th November – will feature a greater emphasis on player decision making, skills and recovery from training. High Performance Manager, John Quinn, says the program will see the players begin the 2008 season well prepared and ready to go.

Youngsters lead the way to start pre-season
There has been plenty of discussion about the crop of young players developing within the confines of Windy Hill and, if today’s first day of testing is anything to go by, it seems they are doing everything they can to drive the Bombers forward. Essendon Fitness Coach, Joel Hocking, is confident about the future of the Bombers’ playing group given the top three place winners in the phosphate recovery test (repeat sprint testing) in Heath Hocking, Angus Monfries and Bachar Houli are aged 20 or younger.

Heath Hocking fastest in 3.2 km time trial
