On Wednesday, 17 October 2007 be part of Australias biggest active workplace event. Thousands of regular and first-time riders from all states and territories will join the inaugural National Ride to Work Day. This is your opportunity to have a real impact on global warming and reap the health benefits of getting active. Research has shown that 34% of first-time riders participating in last years national pilot event were still riding five months later. Ride to Work Day really works!
Don’t miss the free community breakfast in Queens Park afterwards. This breakfast is to celebrate and promote the Moonee Valley Council and the communitys commitment to sustainable transport. All Moonee Valley citizens and employees that cycle, walk, use public transport or car pool on this day are welcome to attend.
