Bomber fans can now purchase photos of James Hird and all the night’s big winners at the 2007 Crichton Medal. This year’s count was one of the most emotional and memorable in the Club’s history and was attended by around 1,500 Essendon fans, players, sponsors and staff.

Mark Bolton announces his retirement
Mark Bolton, 28, last night became the fourth Bomber to announce his retirement, joining James Hird, Chris Heffernan and Scott Camporeale. An emotional Bolton made his announcement at the Crichton Medal last night where he thanked his family, friends, team-mates and the Club.

Essendon secures key players
The future of a number of key Bomber players have been secured with Andrew Lovett, Andrew Welsh, Nathan Lovett-Murray, Jay Nash, Jay Neagle and Sam Lonergan signing new contracts in the past month.
