Donate boots and equipment this Saturday
Round 2 of the Boots For All campaign is being held this week with football fans encouraged to bring quality, second hand footy boots and equipment to Essendon’s clash with Carlton (on Saturday at the MCG) to donate to charity. Essendon Captain Matthew Lloyd said the footy gear can be placed in collection bins at the game and will be re-distributed to disadvantaged Australian communities.

Sold out Legends Match proves extremely popular
The attraction of seeing former Essendon champions return to Windy Hill has proved extremely strong with Sunday’s Legends Match now officially sold out. Following overwhelming demand and a reduced crowd capacity of 4,000 (due to construction work) the club has now closed the on-line registration and has ceased taking phone bookings.

Essendon advises fans to book tickets
The Essendon Football Club is advising supporters to buy an entry ticket and a reserve seat for the Bombers’ historic clash with Richmond next weekend (Sunday, 26th August) to avoid disappointment.
