(City of Moonee Valley)The Moonee Valley Athletics Centre is entering an exciting phase in its history. The track has recently undergone a $1.2 million redevelopment which has the potential to position the venue as Melbournes premier athletics track.
Moonee Valley City Council is seeking three community representatives to join the centres Committee of Management to help achieve the objectives outlined in the recently adopted strategic plan, namely:
provide the highest level of cooperation between user groups
provide a balance between community and commercial imperatives
assist the centre become self-funded for operational expenses
maximise usage of the facility
provide consistently high quality equipment and amenities
