The Moonee Valley Athletics Centre has once again reopened following the re-surfacing of the track recently. The $1.2 million project was completed last month.

The Centre was originally opened in 1972 as an eight lane asphalt track. The new track can be used all year round and provides a high degree of safety for all competitors. The track provides a high standard of athletics facilities including Hammer cage, Javelin, shot put and discus rings as well as high and long jump facility.
