Essendon know this Saturday’s clash with Collingwood will be tough but they are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring home the four points. Speaking to Bomber.tv Andrew Welsh revealed that, despite the Magpie’s strong recent form, the Bombers are feeling confident and are determined to post a much needed win as they fight to secure a place in the finals.

Specialist delivers good news to Camporeale
Following Scott Camporeale’s visit to a specialist yesterday afternoon, Essendon today confirmed that the veteran midfielder has not done any major damage to the patella tendon in his right knee. Club doctor Bruce Reid said that Camporeale has swelling (fluid) under the patella tendon which is expected to settle over the next couple of weeks.

Inaccurate kicking costs Bendigo dearly
Inaccurate kicking at goal has again cost the Bendigo Bombers any chance of victory going down 10.17 (77) to the Northern Bullants 14.8 (92) on Saturday. It was a day when there were few standouts, according to Bendigo Coach Matthew Knights, who named Simon Rosa, in his 100th game, rookie listed Health Hocking and Kepler Bradley as best players.
