The Bendigo Bombers’ season is back on track and they remain in the hunt for a spot in the finals after recording a 20 point win against Werribee at Queen Elizabeth Oval yesterday. While the 13.19 (97) to 11.13 (77) win pleased coach Matthew Knights, inaccurate kicking again plagued the team.

Specialist delivers good news to Camporeale
Following Scott Camporeale’s visit to a specialist yesterday afternoon, Essendon today confirmed that the veteran midfielder has not done any major damage to the patella tendon in his right knee. Club doctor Bruce Reid said that Camporeale has swelling (fluid) under the patella tendon which is expected to settle over the next couple of weeks.
