An Essendon institution closes its doors soon with the retirement of the Landgren family for the Landgren Shoe business. Founded by Fred and Kath Landgren, the Rose Street business has been part of the Essendon dstrict for 59 years. It has truly been a family business with Fred and Kath’s two sons and daughters-in-law succeeding them in more recent years. At various times, other members of the family have also worked in the business. Its fair to say thatthere are numerous Essendon citizens who have been ccustomers of the business.
“The time has come for all of us to say goodbye and retire while we are in good health. We’d like to thank all our customers for their loyal support through the years” Mr Alan Landgren said.
Essendon Blog wishes Ray and Alan and their families all the very best in their retirement. We are sure they will be greatly missed by their many loyal customers.
