Resignation of Bendigo Bomber General Manager Matthew Allan
Essendon Football Club Managing Director, Peter Jackson, today wished Bendigo Bombers General Manager, Matthew Allan, well in the next phase of his professional life. “It is a pity for the Bendigo Bombers that Matthew has announced his resignation today but we wish him well,” Mr Jackson said.

Dreamtime delight for the Bombers
As fans adorned in red, yellow and black packed the MCG to celebrate the contributions of Indigenous Australians in the annual Dreamtime at the G blockbuster, the revelry finished a good sight sweeter for the Bombers who launched a last minute comeback to defeat the Tigers by eight points.

O’Donnell predicts changes for Sydney
Essendon assistant coach, Gary O’Donnell, has nominated Andrew Welsh and Jason Laycock as possible inclusions ahead of the Bombers away clash with Sydney this weekend. Speaking on Bomber tv, O’Donnell said Essendon faces a significant task against a Swans outfit that has started notching up some solid wins including a “clinical” display against the Western Bulldogs.
