Davey cleared of rough play charge
Essendon fans can breath a sigh of relief with the news that first-year Bomber Alwyn Davey has been cleared of a charge of making forceful contact to the head of Adelaide’s Martin Mattner yesterday afternoon. It means Davey will take his place in the crucial game against Fremantle at The Dome this Sunday.

Laycock gets the nod for Fremantle clash
Jason Laycock will play his first game of the season against Fremantle this Sunday having rid himself of a minor hamstring strain. Laycock comes in at the expense of Kepler Bradley who has been dropped for the game. Bradley is an emergency along with Ricky Dyson and Chris Heffernan.
