Operation Safe Plate. The programme involves the removal and replacement of fixing screws on car registration plates. The new screws are specially designed to prevent removal by normal screwdrivers therefore making it very difficult for thieves to remove your plates. The programme will be run at the Westfiels Shopping Centre next Saturday 24th of March between the hours of 10AM and 4PM.
