On Friday, 23 March 2007 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM The Yimbelela School Childrens Choir will perform traditional African music as part of Cultural Diversity Week celebrations.
World-renowned singer and musician Carlos Kobya Panguana from Mozambique has been teaching the choir as part of a project that brings together students from different schools to learn about African music and tradition, and raise their appreciation of different cultures.
100 students from Flemington Primary and St Brendans Primary will perform at the event.
Tickets are $5 per adult and $10 per family and includes coffee and tea served after the performance.
