This Friday 9 February and Saturday 10 February will see people of all ages flocking to Windy Hill to participate in Relay for Life. Relay For Life is an overnight event in which teams keep their baton moving around the oval in order to raise funds for The Cancer Council Victoria. All monies raised will go towards cancer research, education and patient support programs. The highlights at each event include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the Survivors’ Walk and the Candlelight Ceremony. All the action begins at 5:45pm this Friday night so come along and make a donation or simply cheer on the teams as they keep the baton moving for such a fantastic cause…..more
