After being touted as one of the best young talents in the country, Essendon couldn’t believe its luck when Leroy Jetta was still available at pick 18 in the 2006 National Draft. Having pencilled him in as a player to go in the top ten, it was just a formality for the Bombers to use their second pick overall for this Clontarf College graduate.

Bombers count down to Darwin
With just six days before their annual AFL Community Camp, the Essendon Football Club is putting the finishing touches to an itinerary which will see the squad in and around Darwin from Tuesday 6 February to Friday 9 February. The AFL Community Camp is part of a national program that will see all 16 AFL Clubs in regional and remote communities across Australia, giving locals an opportunity to get close to AFL at the highest level.
