On Sunday 25 February, the Essendon Football Club will stage its annual Family Day at Queens Park, Moonee Ponds. Family Day provides an opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with the Essendon players and coaches as they continue preparations for the season ahead. Unlike previous years, Essendon has decided to take its Family Day to Queens Park this year to allow it to engage more closely with the local community. The Family Day will be staged as a part of the Moonee Valley Festival – a celebration of local art, music and culture. It will allow Bomber fans to celebrate everything red and black and also appreciate the talents of the local community.
