Lloyd put on light training duties
Matthew Lloyd has been given a week on light training duties due to some tightness in his hamstring. The good news is that the tightness is not in the hamstring that saw him miss the vast majority of season 2006 and he will resume full training next week.

Bomber Auctions – bid online now!
Over the next three weeks, Bomber Auctions will be offering some unique memorabilia items online. The first auction kicks off today,with Essendon fans having an opportunity to bid on a set of Premiership Cups 1962 through to 2000. This item features replicas of all six-premiership cups won over these years, with the winning player’s names engraved on the base of the cup

Davey causes a stir
Alwyn Davey has told the football world to stand up and take notice after he impressed teammates and supporters alike during an intra-club match on the weekend. Kicking three goals and racking up numerous possessions, Davey proved handy up forward in a role he hopes to adopt when the real stuff begins.

Indigenous talent on show in Darwin
Three Essendon players have been honoured with selection in the Indigenous All Stars side that will play Essendon in Darwin on Friday, February 9th. Paddy Ryder, Andrew Lovett and Nathan Lovett-Murray have been included in a superbly talented side that will provide an extreme early season test for the young Bombers.
