Keeping its promise of putting the community first, Moonee Valley City Council is welcoming public input into Council Planning and Citizens Meeting agendas.
It is a continuation of Councils commitment to ensuring openness and transparency in all our practices and processes, Mayor Cr Ben Opie said.
It has also been my vow to empower the community to participate in and have access to Councils decision-making and policy development, he said.
Beginning with the first meeting for 2007 on 6 February, the meetings will incorporate a public forum, allowing residents to submit issues they would like to raise for discussion. The forum will be held from 6.15pm to 7.15pm….more
