The Moonee Valley Citizenship Ceremony will be held on Friday, 26 January 2007 at 1:00 PM. The Special Guest will be Australia Day Ambassador John Blackman.
Mr Blackman has been a visible part of Australian Radio and Television for over 36 years, with national recognition thorough his pivotal role as the voice of Australias longest running variety show, Hey Hey Its Saturday, which ran for an amazing 28 years on the Nine Network from 1971 to 1999. Today he is part of Adelaides New Zoo breakfast team on 5MMM which he broadcasts from his home in Melbourne.
