Bombers announce leadership group
Essendon Football Club has today announced its leadership group for the 2007 season. David Hille and Dustin Fletcher have been named joint vice-captains and will have the responsibility of supporting captain Matthew Lloyd as the Bombers start their Fightback campaign.
Lloyd family grows by one
Congratulations to Essendon captain Matthew Lloyd and his wife Lisa who received an early Christmas present with the safe arrival of a baby girl last night. Jaeda Ruby Lloyd was born at 7:20pm weighing nine pound four ounces. Both mother and baby are doing well.
Guernsey numbers allocated
The Essendon football department has finalised the number list for next season with no major changes being made from 2006. The Bombers nine new players will wear the following numbers: Scott Gumbleton (3), Leroy Jetta (7), Mal Michael (22), Alwyn Davey (29), Tom Hislop (35), Kyle Reimers (37), Dean Dick (40), Danny Chartres (41) and Bachar Houli (43).
