Lucas stands up to challenge
With Matthew Lloyd absent for the majority of the year, Essendon fans believed Scott Lucas needed to stand up in the Bombers forward line in 2006 and he did just that. Kicking 67 goals, they believe he was the stand out player for the club this year, unlucky not to obtain All-Australian selection.
