Evans accepts position on EFC board
The Essendon Football Club board today announced that leading Melbourne stockbroker David Evans has been appointed to the board to fill a casual vacancy created by the resignation of club director Ben Dunn. Dunn, who has been on the Essendon board since 1999, resigned after accepting a senior business appointment in Singapore. The appointment of Evans to fill the casual vacancy was ratified at last night’s board meeting.
