Bombers back on the track
Pre-season has kicked off at Windy Hill for the majority of the Essendon squad as the first group of players returned to training on Monday. 17 players have commenced training this week with the balance of the squad to return next Monday. Among the early starters have been a number of players that underwent post-season surgery, including Andrew Lovett, Jason Laycock and Henry Slattery.

Camporeale adds experience
Despite enduring a season curtailed by injury, Scott Camporeale showed his ability to find the football in his 12 games for the Bombers this year. Camporeale had a serviceable season with the aging midfielder adding some experience to the young Essendon line-up. Fans hope to see a fully fit Camporeale return next season to help lift the side.
