Fans welcome Heffernan’s return
In his return to the Bombers this year, Chris Heffernan was a solid contributor for the red and black, putting in a valiant effort each week. One of the more experienced players in the Essendon line-up, fans felt that Heffernan’s influence on the field could have been a lot greater this year.

Henneman delisted
Essendon has today officially delisted Aaron Henneman. Henneman, 25, played 58 games for the Bombers after making his debut in 2000. He played 19 games for Essendon at centre half back the following season but injuries began to take their toll in the ensuing seasons.
