Christmas Fair
Meet Santa and the elves, enjoy live music, and loads of rides and stalls at St Vincent De Paul Primary School, Woodland Street, Strathmore, from 3.30pm-9pm on Friday, December 1. Rides include camels, dodgem cars, chair-o-plane, giant 3-in-1 inflatable, as well as a haunted house and craft, plants, cake and white elephant stalls. Let’s get into the spirit of Christmas!
Quilters Show.
Victorian Quilters’ One Step Further opens at 6pm, October 25, at the Incinerator Arts Complex, 180 Holmes Road, Moonee Ponds, and runs until November 12. Gallery hours: 11am-4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
Community concert.
The Newmarket Baptist Church is celebrating its 120th anniversary, 3pm, Sunday, October 29, at 12 Brighton Street, Newmarket (Flemington).
Participate and celebrate. There’s a $5 entry fee. Afternoon tea, cakes and jewellery will be on sale.
