Stanton and Fletcher to head to Ireland
Essendon rising star Brent Stanton was this afternoon named in the Foster’s Australian International Rules Team for the 2006 series to be played in Ireland. Stanton’s selection is terrific reward for a young man whose career has taken giant strides in recent seasons. Essendon veteran Dustin Fletcher was also named in the squad.
