It was an evening of glitz and glamour last night at the Brownlow medal count, as Adam Goodes won his second best and fairest award, capping off a outstanding season for the Swans. In a dry night of votes for Essendon, Scott Lucas and Brent Stanton tied as the best of the Bombers, polling seven votes each.
Essendon to host Relay for Life Fundraiser
Essendon Football Club will host a Relay for Life fundraiser at Windy Hill next February as part of its partnership with the Cancer Council. Money raised goes to cancer research, education and patient support programs and the Club hopes to attract 50 teams of 10 people to what is a unique and moving event.
