One of Melbourne’s worst traffic snarls is being eliminated with works well advanced on the $150 million Tullamarine-Cader upgrade at Essendon Airport. In September drivers will be able to travel on the first new citybound Tullamarine Freeway lanes.

On Sunday 27 August between 10 am and 3 pm come along and sneak a peek behind the blue fence to see the works now underway. You will be able to walk or ride along the new freeway lanes to the new Tullamarine bridge. There will be displays & construction equipment. Lots of family fun, music and giveaways. You can even enjoy a Sunday sausage sizzle.
