The Essendon Camera Club turns 50 and to celebrate it is holding a photographic display of its members’ work in Moonee Ponds. The club was formed in 1956 by the late Gary Lewis. The modest begining saw only 4 people attend but it soon developed into a thriving club of 100 members. The Club meets bi-monthly at the Essendon Baptist Church.

The exhibition, which wil display work of past and present members, will be held at the Incinerator Arts Complex, 180 Holmes Rd, Moonee Ponds. Opening times: 11am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, August 5 and 6, and Wednesday to Sunday, August 9 to 13. Details: 9331 1607.
