Night to fight cancer

(Moonee Valley Leader Newspaper)
A CABARET dinner has been organised by cancer survivors to raise money for The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The Bombers Cancer Support Group will host the event on July 28. One of the organisers, leukemia survivor Ken Cremor-Peel, 68, said the night promised to be a hit. “We have lined up great entertainment and music to dance the night away,” he said.

Money raised at the dinner will be donated to the Royal Melbourne Hospital cancer ward. Mr. Cremor-Peel said “It will go towards the purchase of equipment that is very badly needed.” He said the support group had given the hospital more than $10,000 over the years.
