Every Thursday at 10am the Essendon Over 50’s Walkers leave Flinders Street station for walks all over Melbourne on good walking tracks, beside rivers and streams and through beautiful bushland where wildlife is seen and heard. Lunch is always a picnic in a beautiful park or garden. Bus trips and short holidays are also organised. You are invited to join these friendly and happy people where interesting company and places make for a memorable time. Always wear comfortable clothing and bring lunch and drinks. A bus trip has been organised for September 24 to Katandra Gardens, Wandin. There will be a guided tour of several wineries with wine tastings and tour of the gardens.
