The latest survey by finance and investment company, Elderslie Finance Corporation, has revealed that property is back in favour with Australian investors.
The survey, titled Your Interest, is a bi-annual barometer of investment opinion conducted across 4,500 Elderslie investors across Australia. It measures changes in individual investment intention and desirable attributes of investment products.
Property was the clear winner with residential property (9%), unlisted property (5%) and listed property trusts (16%) performing strongly as the most popular forms of investment in 2006.
