Interested in model railways?

Interested in model railways? We suggest you come along to one of our regular Wednesday night sessions to see what we do. The Essendon Model Railway Group Inc meets at the hall of the St Paul’s Anglican Church, Roxburgh St, Ascot Vale from about 7.30pm to 10.00pm each Wednesday night. We are generally involved with OO/HO scale models. There is a large club layout on which can be run either 12v DC locos or 16v DCC (digital) equipped locos. We are a friendly laid back group and willing to discuss all aspects of model railways. The model railway hobby is a multi-skilled activity covering carpentry, track laying, scenery construction, backscene painting, electronics, plastic model building, brass model building, wiring, etc., and is expanding into digital sound effects built into models. The group is occasionally involved in displaying a working layout at model railway exhibitions. We welcome your interest, and if you are so inclined, we would welcome you as a member. Visitors always welcome.
