Essendon Football Club News – Come on be a part of it!

Come on be a part of it!
Bomber supporters and fans now have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Windy Hill on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Thursdays. Playing legend Ken Fraser and former committee member Brian Crowe are back to guide you and your friends through the club’s inner sanctum.

Dons run over tired Swans
In extreme heat conditions this afternoon at Optus Oval, Essendon has won its NAB Challenge match against the Sydney Swans. With temperatures soaring over 35 degrees, the Bombers were able to run out the game in a stronger fashion than the Swans to be 32 point victors.

Big name Bombers nearing return
Essendon’s injury list should shrink considerably over the coming two weeks with a number of senior players set to return from enforced lay-offs. Adam McPhee (knee), Jason Johnson (foot) and Courtney Johns (hamstring) are all just one week away from resuming while Dean Solomon is expected to be ready to go the following week.

Brave Ramanauskas up for the fight
Adam Ramanauskas has bravely faced the media today to discuss his current fight with cancer. Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson outlined Ramanauskas’ course of treatment, with the first stage to be major surgery later this week.
